Jeeps are well made vehicles. If they are taken care off they will go on for a good long time. I, personnaly have seen many Jeep Cherokee with 2-3-500,000 miles on them and are still running.
Most vehicles will do the same if they are treated right, yearly tune ups, regular maintenance...etc.

The Jeep Cherokee Sport is a good choice. If you have the 4.0 liter straight six engine then it should last a long time. Keep an eye out for 4x4 problems other than that you should be fine.

from 1992 through 1998 the cherokee sport was offered witha 4.0L engine wich is a lot better than the 4.2l engine offered in 1980's through 1990 modles. I Had a 1998 model and loved it...i would still have it if my x wife and I didn't split and were forced to sell it during the divorce.

jeep cherokee's are dependable vehicles i think u did pretty good if the price was right.congrats

depends on what you mean by good. i would say if it has been taken care of than yeah. i had a 94, and it went over 200,000 miles and was still going strong. i crashed it though.
