Please tell me what I should do to be a good Christian.

To do as God would do as best as you can.Love others and be selfless and giving,not selfish.Put God first, others second and yourself last

A good Christian lives a life with knowledge that one is saved by grace not by good works. A good Christian will follow the standard that Jesus has set - placing others needs before one's own. A good Christian sets their focus on becoming the person God created them to be in order to experience true freedom living a life reflecting Christ drawing others unto Him and not man. To be a good Christian is simple but not easy. A good Christian needs fellowship with other believers for encouragement and support. That is all a part of being a good Christian as Jesus modeled has for us by having a select close group of friends to worship, pray, and minister to others together.

Have you ever planted a garden, or tried to grow a houseplant of some kind? If so, you know that the plants won't grow unless they have the right soil. But that isn't enough; plants also need water and sunlight, and they have to be fertilized and weeded regularly. If they aren't, they will be stunted and unproductive, and may even die.
And the same is true with our faith. The first requirement is a receptive heart—a soul that wants to welcome Christ into that person's life. Like the good soil in a garden, a receptive heart welcomes the "seed" of God's Word and helps it take root and grow. Jesus said that person is like a farmer whose "seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, multiplying thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times" (Mark 4:8). Do you have a receptive heart—one that wants to grow closer to God?
But faith also needs to be nurtured! The seed of faith needs to be "watered" regularly with prayer and the truth of God's Word, the Bible. It also needs the fellowship of other believers, and sin also needs to be "weeded" out of our lives.
Make sure of your commitment to Christ. Then get in a church where Christ is preached and taught, and make prayer and the Bible part of your life every day. Faith must be nurtured—and when it is, it will grow stronger every day.

First of all we must have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior. The word "Christian" means to be Christ like and we can't be that without having Him in our lives. And to be like Him and have His mind we Have to read the Bible, study the Bible to understand it and also do what it says. That will produce the fruit of the Spirit which are : love, joy, peace, patience, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control
Galatians 5:22
Walking in these, is pleasing to God

have your own independant time with God daily and obey his commands... know his word and represent him well? why are you askin ppl on the interent? you have a bible? it has all the answers right? look in there it might take a bit to find what your searching for... praverbs is a good book filled with wisdom... and on the contrary to what the anti christian ppl said.. if you dont believe somethin go ahead and accept(i mean accept that you dont believe it as a fact... not blindly fallow it) that as a fact.. ive done it then im shone a verse and im all... oh..... im stupid...

It means that your life in gratitude for who God is, and what he has done for you. Follow the kindness, grace and integrity expressed in the Bible so that others can see that God is real through you. Put Jesus and others ahead of yourself knowing it pleases God (and is what he did) and that he will bless it.
Pray constantly, and do your part to stay close to God - he will walk with you and "delight in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart."

being a good Christian i believe would be to practise what you preach
to try and live a good life
to do your best , because no one is perfect
this isnt just rules for being a good Christian ... but being a good person full stop
