I have some fresh frozen salmon filets, actually alot of them. So I am going to use some of the salmon to make patties with. My question is...has anyone ever frozen cooked salmon patties and how well do they keep and do you have any freezing tips? I appreciate your responses.

I would suggest frying them before you freeze them, that way they won't break down.
Best to freeze them in a zipper type bag and get out as much air as possible. If oyu like you can pre-freeze them in a cookie wheet before putting them in plastic. That way you will be able to take out one or two at a time.
When ready to eat just thaw and satue for a couple minutes in a hot skillet.

I personally never worked with frozen salmon patties, i usually just make what i need. But to answer your question. Wrap them individually in plastic wrap post cooking, when cool. then lay them down in the freezer longest side down till frozen, the toss them all into a plastic bag, they will be able to handle a bit more rought treatment. When wanting to thaw. Use cool running water from your sink, just leave them wrapped and run the water over them. Should thaw in about 20-30 mins and it wont dry the meat like a microwave.
