I must do a poem with this words: simphony, butterfly, fog, fade, jade. Can you correct this? I have done: it's like the water- a formless wonder - it's like the butterfly - a timeless simphony -it's like a jade -a color not able to fade -that in the fog - filters whole hog

I think your instructor is trying to help you with pronunciation, so whether or not these answers are correct depends on what you and your instructor consider correct pronunciation. Here are some suggestions for words that rhyme in my part of the world:

1) symphony - peony (a peony is a flower)
2) butterfly - cry, try, die, dye
3) fog - bog, dog, log
4) fade - jade, raid, made, maid, paid
5) water - daughter

Below is an online rhyming dictionary that may be helpful. Good luck with your project. I'll leave the poem part up to you.

simphony is spelled symphony

i don't get "filters whole hog"
i would of never put those 3 words together...

y'know jade is also a very hard stone...you might try from that angle.
