Isn't it worse when there's nothing to believe in?

Your premise is flawed. I'm a Christian and am not attacked. Of course there are extremists in every walk of life. Yes to your second question. My faith (crutch somone called it - and wouldn't they like such a crutch!?) has seen me through a poor childhood, the early death of my father, 5 years WW2 service as an RAF pilot (just one crash!) and the loss of several mates, raising a family, running a business on a shoestring, and now living alone after the deaths of two wives. But what a great thing it is being able to look forward to tomorrow, knowing that I'm in God's care through good or bad times, and having two loving daughters.

I have seen it more in the reverse, meaning Christians attacking NON Christians more. That also depends entirely on where you live. I find that that both attacking and being attacked on what you believe merits only your consternation on why people like this exist. No need to engage in or defend yourself, it is their way of displaying narrow mindedness and sheer lack of understanding other peoples feelings, beliefs and convictions. Bottom line respect people for who they are, not what you think they should believe. I am by the way, a Non Christian.

Im a christian, however, I have to agree with your line of questioning. There are a lot of bible thumpers out there and what they don't understand is that you can't go around preaching the word of God like you know it all. People have their own beliefs and trying to shove it down someone else's throat because they have a different belief is not the way to go. I believe that the topic of religion is the same as the topic of politics. I used to have a friend that is so zealous of her faith that it is a turn off and I have no desire to talk to her anymore. The whole thing is stupid and people just needs to learn that people have the right to believe in whatever they want to believe and have opinions. AND other people need to respect that regardless of what they themselves believe in.

I have seen here more Christians attacking non-Chistians. In fact, I have seen more Christians attacking Muslims, Islam and the Holy Quraan, than any other group attacking Christians.

I am not a Christian nor a Muslim, and I have nothing against any person or religion whether that person is religious or atheist.

I have a suspicion it's because a lot of Christians attack non-Christians for their beliefs. Who says there is nothing to believe in? There are hundreds of religions that are just as real to their followers as Christianity is to Christians.

You're assuming that all Non-Christians don't believe in any sort of Supernatural. You're mistaken. I am a Non-Christian, a Pagan... and I certainly have a belief. I don't outright attack Christians because of their belief. But I will stand up to those who try to use their religion to justify hypocritical actions towards others.

Non-Christian's and Christian's attack fascist Christian's; those Christian's that try to tell other's how they must live and what they must value and believe. It's actually not an attack against Christian's, but a defense against fascism.

who says they do not believe in anything. When a person does not believe in the same things as christian fundamentalist do they not attack them for not thinking like them? Noone should attack anothers belief. We should all be free to think for ourselves and respect others even if they do not believe the same.

I'm catholic and seem to be attacked all the time from other Christians and others. But I have broad shoulders ;-) I actually converted to Catholic because it is the original source of Christianity and the more I studied it, the more and more sense and logical it became.

No group is more likely to attack anyone that is different than the religious fanatics. Christianity and Islam are the major offenders. Any religion that claims to be the only way to God is a lie.

Hate filled and bigoted religious books are often used as justification to spread hate and bigotry.
