I have a page from a magazine that I want to keep in good shape and nice. also would like to be able to use it like decoration for my room. would a picture frame work, any specific kind?

Sure, a picture frame would work. But for the best results, use a non-glare glass and make sure it is uv glass so that the picture from the magazine won't fade.

If I were to do it I'd put it in a simple glass (not cheap glass, or maybe unbreakable glass) frame. From working with genealogy pictures and such I understand there is some acid free paper for backing you might want to use, but maybe you'd be better off to consult an antique restorer or a framing place that has someone on staff who is knowledgeable, or even search preserving pictures for genealogy purposes on the internet (yahoo search engine).
