I have a Bushmaster M4 style carbine that cost me around $900, most gun stores (especially in AZ) should have at least one in stock. These are some of the cheaper AR-15 rifles out there. The full stock, A2 versions tend to run a little higher than $1000, but not by much.

Go with Spades. Another alternative is the AR-180(B?) from Armalite. It has an AR-180 upper and the whole lower receiver is that of an AR-15. Really cool gun despite the fact that it does not use a chrome-lined barrel, but then again I doubt you plan on jungle fighting.

There are alot of gun shops down there just ask for a cheaper Ar-15. Bushmaster has one for around $869 and Pather has them for less. Stay away from gun show because they over charge, but talk to a gun shop, the bigger the shop the better the savings.

At our store they start at $759.99. We carry exclusivly DPMS products. In my opinion they are as good or better than the Bushmasters and Armalights and considerable cheaper. For accuracy they are unblievable. If there's a particular model you want check out the DPMS website. If you have any other questions feel free to email our store huntersoutlet@yahoo.com.

Another vote for Spades.

As an alternative, you can purchase the upper and lower separately. The lower receiver is the "gun" itself and needs to go through an FFL unless you're buying from an individual in your state. The upper receiver assembly can be ordered online and shipped to your door.

Keep an eye out for local gun shows or pick up a an issue of shotgun news for events, times and locations.
