the gloves part is fine. to go, put your skiis parallel to eachother, headed down the mountain, (think of them to be shaped like frech fries). then to stop, push your heels to the outside (think of your skiis as a slice of pizza). take lessons to, thats the most beneficial thing. also, dont try to overdo it

ha! I just learned how to ski. lessons REALLY help, always remember to keep your knees bent and press all the way to the front of the boot. Complete your turns or else you'll be going 50 million miles an hour down a mountain. NEVER try to walk down a mountain wth your boots. Bad idea

Tips Umh yeah might be a good idea to carry a couple of casts with you. One for your legs and one for your arms..
You stop by turning sideways and digging your skis in broadside like plows. I think I got that simple enough. If not you will have your cast with you..

take lessons.
Thats how I started snowboarding and after 3 lessons I was able to do what I wanted on the slopes and I had alot more fun then just falling everywhere.
Clothes wise just dress heavy but light enough to move agiley.

Keep your tips up and together.

Bend at the knees so that you can absorb the shock.

Keep your bum back. Keep your head up.
