What is wrong with your 31 year old brother in law that he can't get along with a 7 year old? That is sad. You really need to give more information if you want better feedback.

First you talk to the 31 yr old and tell him to grow up. You tell him that he is the adult so he needs to treat your child better. If he doesnt dont allow him in your house or around your child ever again.

tell your brother in law to grow up and if he can't be nice then stay away.. after all he is the adult
and ask your kid why he does'nt like his uncle....
you know... he could be being molested or something... it is the people you know and trust that do it to your kids more often... not the strangers
