I have had a Sony v series 32" tv and full Sky set up since Sept 2006.The TV has built in Freeview as well.I must tell you that it will cost you 300£ for sky + box and then the full package is 53 50 /month.(£10 /month inc to be able to record Sky programmes.)I am not a Film fan or sport watcher so if you only watch Normal tv the HD is not worth all the cost. The Freeview pics from TV are very very good and for me I think I will be cancelling the Sky HD till many more programmes are available.

It's already here, pal..."HD ready" ? That means you need an out-board box to receive the HD signal...

You can already get certain programs in HD on Sky but you have to pay extra to view them.
