It really doesn't make sense to me. We're all gonna die anyway. Does it matter if it is abortion or miscarriage, car accident or gunshot. I don't get it.

Because some people actually care when innocent human beings are being unjustly executed. And by the way, you don't have to be religious to know that killing innocent people is wrong. There are pro-life atheist and agnostic groups. See, for example:
http://www.godlessprolifers.org
Every abortion kills an innocent human being. This is not an opinion or matter of religious faith. It is a simple biological fact. By the time most women know they are pregnant (3 weeks after conception), their baby's heart is already beating. Virtually no abortions are committed before 6-7 weeks, by which time the child has recordable brain waves and tiny fingers.

Because most Christians believe that having an abortion equates with murder. That it's better to have the child and give it up for adoption.
I was reading the comments above mine, and thinking about other experiances I've had, and I'd like to explain something.
Most Christians do not want to control your life. They don't want to do that at all. But they are trying to do what they see is right. They believe that killing people, even unborn children, is wrong. So, while they are trying to save the kid, they're stepping over your boundaries.
I'm Christian. And I think it's wrong to do that. But the Christians who do ARE doing so for a reason. Maybe they're making mistakes, but their heart is in the right place.

B/c they're told that mother's carry the baby the whole 9 months and stab it in the head on the way out. They don't stop to think that makes no sense at all and they apparently think the rights of an undeveloped fetus are more important than a fully developed human.
BTW, the Bible says nothing aqbout abortion or fetuses, no matter what word you use.

Believers know it's an act against that which explains why we are here today. I guess some see it as being "uptight" but more so the reality of mourning those lost to abortion...the shedding of innocent blood.

First, some people saw the slaughter of many innocents. In their sorrow, and disgust, they started a religion. That was about 32 centuries ago. The only thing new about abortion, is the antiseptic rinse that doctors use to wash the human blood from their hands.

i don't see why they think they're so special that they should have the right to make other people's decisions for them. they need to mind their own business. i would not have one myself but i am pro choice. pro choice does not mean pro abortion, it means just what it says.
