My son dumped this girl after christmas and it seems she still has the neckless. Should I encourage him to get it back. I mean she treated him like a piece of garbage to begin with and now she is walking around with a 110.00 neckless on her neck.

She treated him like a piece of garbage from the beginning and he gave her a nice gift? What is wrong with people? He gave her the gift, broke off the relationship, and, unfortunatley, he can kiss the neckless goodbye. A gift is a gift. We learn so many things the hard way.

nicely i think of your female buddy is depressed. usually while a woman has a infant she's somewhat out of kinds for a jointly as. only save telling her that her son loves her because of the fact all in all he incredibly does. My sister had a infant 2 weeks in the past and she or he became into particularly depressed and thinking the child did no longer prefer to be close to her. She's greater valuable now... no longer thoroughly yet getting there.

Well, you can't really tell him to try and get it back becaue that's rude. Once you give a gift, you can't ask for it back. If he was treated like garbage why would he give an expensive gift like that anyways? If it was given to her, she should wear it.

Butt out, if he gave her a gift then it's a gift!!! Maybe you should have talked to him prior to the giving instead of after they split. What if it was your daughter and someone asked her for a gift back!!!

Was it a gift? Or a sign they were boyfriend and girlfriend? If it was a gift -you dont take a gift back. If it was a sign they were going together then he can ask for it back.

no, it was his decision. He knew that their was a possibility of breaking up. If he made a decision to spend that much on a necklace then there is no reason to get it back. Now, if you gave him the mony then yes, he should get it back. But if he earned it, it is ultimately his decision.

NO! YOU HAVE TO LET THEM LEARN THERE LESSON. TALK TO HIM ABOUT IT AND WHY YOU SHOULDN'T GIVE GIFTS LIKE THAT UNLESS IT IS A LONG TERM SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP. IF YOU BOUGHT THE NECKLACE THEN I WOULD GET IT BACK. IF HE SPENT HIS OWN MONEY , THEN I THINK YOU HAVE TO LET THEM LIVE AND LEARN. GOOD LUCK.
