Does that mean that millions of sea creatures who live on the bottom of the ocean, even some miles under the surface which don't see the light of day were also present, how about the tiny microscopic ones other animals feast on, were they there? How about the millions of insects? Were lice there as well?

Did Adam have a microscope? Were some put in petri dishes by God so Adam could name them?

The ones people knew about got named, the ones that we found hundreds of years later got named by the people that found them or got some crappy scientific name. Adam only named the normal ones that people would come across on a daily basis

Adam named the animals that were created as domestic animals, and farm animals - those that would do the work to maintain the Garden.

Geez, I wish people would stop going to these "online Bibles" for information.

God created the animals first. He then created guy. Genesis 2:18-19 is describing while God delivered the animals in the past Adam so as that they may be named-that is no longer describing their advent as they have been already created in financial disaster one.

The 'Origin of Species' doesn't mention Adam too much, or at all for that matter. You have just asked an eternal question. It has an eternal answer that can only be resolved by God.

Yeah, well, you know, time didn't move the same in those first seven days as it does now, so Adam and God had a lot of time to sit around and think of cool Latin binomial nomenclatures for everyone.

The story of Adam and Eve is nothing but a glorified fairy tale, and I am amazed that grown intelligent people actually believe in it. Don't try to read to much into it.
