You are doing good. Explore with an open heart and mind all religions and learn about them as much as you can. And you will find one in which to believe.

Just make sure you always keep and open heart and mind, to accept those whose beliefs will be different than yours.

I highly recommend the Belief-O-Matic quiz at Beliefnet.com:

http://www.beliefnet.com/story/76/story_7665_1.html

It matches you up with a wide variety of religions and philosophies based on your answers.

An excellent source for relatively objective information on a number of different religions is:

http://www.religioustolerance.org

And a good resource for message boards where you can talk to people of different religions is:

Myself, I'm Wiccan, but that's the path that's right for me -- it might be entirely wrong for you. As a Wiccan, I believe that all religions are valid paths to the Divine. So have fun searching, and good luck!

If you know what you want, you have almost reached in finding a religion that suits you.
Go find about different faiths.
I would suggest, Hinduism, buddism, judaism, jainism
I am not saying these religions are perfect, there are always things to understand and unknown in faiths, but these are more humane and make sense.

I am a Christian but I do not believe in religion at all.Instead I have a close personal relationship with God through Jesus and the Holy Spirit.A religion will dictate to you what you have to do to be made acceptable in the eyes of God and if you don't do what it says you will burn in hell.Jesus already did everything necessary to save you so you can recieve your inheritance in the kingdom of Heaven. You only need to accept him into your heart, turn away from sin and love him with all your heart.Upon being saved you will recieve the Holy Spirit which will guide you and always be with you to take care of you. Then let Jesus live through you,you don't have to do anything else. You will recieve unconditional love and total forgiveness, read Bob George's "Classic Christianity" .You won't have to ever be forgiven again because when Jesus died for your sins he did it once and for all.Instead talk to God about your weaknesses and ask for strength to overcome them. When you realize just how much you are loved and totally forgiven you will feel like a ton of weight has been lifted from your shoulders. You'l be free to love God and not worry about anything.Another good book I recommend is by Jennifer Kennedy Dean "The life saving power in the name of Jesus"You will realize how free you are as a child of God and how accepted you are.No where in the bible does it say you have to believe in religion in fact Jesus constantly rediculed it for being hypocrytical and biggoted. We live by Grace now,Jesus fullfilled the law which was a mirror to show people how sinful they are and to attempt on their own to be made right in the eyes of God.Grace is unconditional love and forgiveness,it is saying "You don't have to do anything to get to heaven because everything that has needed to be done has already been done for you."We are already forgiven now all we need is Life upon which we will recieve Gods forgiveness. Also only the unsaved will face judgement day and be judged for their sins because they rejected God and remained spiritually dead in their sins. The saved who are refered to in the bible as "Saints" won't have to be judged because they accepted God and repented of their sins and recieved the Holy Spirit.Instead they will have to give an account of how they lived their life which begins the momment they are saved. Were we a good seed which was planted and produced a good harvest?Or were we a seed that only produced weeds? So my advice to you is find a good King James study bible mine is called Life Application Study Bible,New Living Translation and read it from front to back. You will learn more than any religion will ever teach you if you read it for yourself in the order in which it was written.I hope this helps you if you have any questions just ask you can e-mail me.

If you are looking for God you have already started to find God. Try talking to people involved in their religions. From the Ba'Hai brotherhood you can get information about many types of visions of God.

Hi! If you are interested in a very inclusive religion, I would suggest that you investigate the Baha'i Faith. Baha'u'llah, the Founder of the Faith, taught that there is only one God, who progressively reveals Himself throughout history through a series of divine revelations. Consequently, there is only one religion that is gradually being unfoled to humankind. Likewise, there is only one human race, whose destiny is to unite in one world civilization. Baha'u'llah wrote that "the earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens."

Encourage you to join with a full Gospel Bible church made up of born-again believers and taste and see the difference.
God Bless you

Well...I'm an atheist... but I once did that search, too. Go to a Unitarian church. You will find many tolerant people of many different faiths. Explore, think and choose.

Sorry...Religion doesn't work like that...you can't just pick the coolest one your what people recommend on yahoo. If you want religion in your life then have it for the right reasons. No religion is going to be alright to you if your not in it for the right purpose.
