A poor idea and a poor combination. Doctors now would not generally recommend aspirin in full dose for either fever or pain. It is very effective but its gastrointestinal risks probably outweigh it's benefits. Whiskey also tends to go for the stomach, thus the combination is a dangerous one, the main risk being gastrointestinal bleeding. Also aspirin is not recommended to people in their teens because rarely it can cause Reyes syndrome which is potentially fatal.
Stick to paracetamol, or if you have a good stomach and don't have asthma, ibuprofen (not on an empty stomach) both of these would be safer than aspirin. If you choose whiskey use paracetamol rather than ibuprofen, as again there may be stomach issues with that combination, it may help you sleep, but otherwise any clear fluids will do you just as well.
Since you are female survival is assured, as you know males tend to be convinced that colds may be fatal.

It may make you feel better, but it won't make your cold go away. The whisky will help you sleep, and the aspirin will help with aches and fever. This should be safe unless you have a reason not to use alcohol or take aspirin.
You should avoid aspirin if you have an aspirin allergy, asthma, kidney disease, a history of ulcers, or are on other blood thinners. You should avoid alcohol if you are on sedative medications (Xanax for example), sleeping pills, have liver disease or are a recovering alcoholic. Otherwise, this combo should be pretty safe.

These must be kids answering.
Drugs - aspirin, whatever - do not mix with alcohol and can be dangerous.
You pays your money, you take your choice. Aspirin or the like will relieve the symptoms.
The drink will help you sleep - one of the best natural healers.
Personally, I mix a double shot of spirit - whisky or brandy, in a glass; put on my trackies, then sweat it out in bed. I sleep well.
But mixing alcohol with drugs is a definite No No

Well, it's not particularly dangerous, as long as you aren't taking a lot. The aspirin will help with the aches and pains. The alcohol will help you sleep, and is reputed to break up mucus. But taking Nyquil or something like that would probably work better. Incidentally, Nyquil has alcohol in it, too!

I love a shot of good tequila followed by a bite of a lime wedge and a lick of salt. SO good. My mouth is watering now. I haven't had that in almost exactly a year.

I'm sure it wouldn't hurt you.
A better remedy, however, would be a dose of:
vitamin C - 4,000 mgs
oregano oil
garlic capsules - 500 to 1000 mg
lysine
zinc
With proper rest, the above remedy will ward off any virus.

Yes its safe and it sweats the cold out of you.
It works better though if you add a little hot water and a spoonful of sugar or honey to the whisky.
Just don't use paracetamol instead of asprin.

No its not safe. On the Bottle it clearly states that using the two together causes stomach bleeding.
Not that that has ever stopped me before.
