To avoid the awkward silence you must indicate which direction you want the evening to go. To you want a good night kiss, then say so. Go inside and shut the door. Do you want a romantic interlude, then you want to say something like, "hey, why don't you come up for a drink of whatever." And then there is the ultimate, just wait for him to say something. You are obviously waiting for a bf to come along with a brain. When the right bf comes along you will know and won't have to worry about what to say. He'll be doing his share of the discussion. Good luck.

Give me another; finally, that was worth the wait. so what do we do now, Ha I got you now ( then laugh it off and smile) That if the kiss was good. If it was bad let the silence continue..and say so what are you going to do today (thats a hint to let her know it wont be with u but in a nice way)

Well as everyone else has said you could always kiss him again, or you could simply smile and put your head on his chest. Just do whatever feels right for the moment. If you feel like kissing more, do it. Or if you feel like talking or cuddleing or whatever, go with that. It all depends on how the moment feels.

I'd just wait for him to say something. With the right person, the mandatory awkward silence can be kind of hot.

You say "Are you gonna do me our what?" No just smile and if felt nice, go back in. The awkward silence is the thrill you both got.

If it is a parting kiss, then just say Goodnight (OR WHATEVER TIME OF DAY IT IS) or if it is in the middle of the date then you can just smile and give him a hug and then talk about whatever it is you plan on doing next.

Well normally you wouldn't say much but well, there isn't much to say!!! so has this actually happened to you or are u just saying stufff? Because after i kiss a girl (usually not a really long one) theres not much to say so if i were you i'd just say nothing...

SILENCE IS GOOD IT WORKS FOR ME A GUY DOESN'T LIKE A GIRL THAT TALKS TO MUCH IT SPOILS THE ROMANTIC VIBE SO JUST ROLL WITH IT IF HE DOESNT COME UP WITH ANY THING GOOD TO SAY THEN CHANCES ARE HE'S FEELING THE SAME WAY YOU ARE, IN LOVE.

you say 'hehe this is awkward'..LOL nah..iunno what you say. i mean if you really like the person then conversation should come easy and affection shouldnt really be a big deal. but i suppose you just carry on sayin what you was sayin before the kiss.

just say u love him or say something sweet and sincere. u can also just dont say anything. a hug after a kiss normally works. silence is golden anyway. =)
