I used L'Oreal hair colour and my hair fall is more than normal. Is it because of the hair colour I used ? If yes , please suggest some good brands that will not harm my hair but which can give me my favourite hair colour. Also if there are any herbal brands available, please tell me the names. I just want something that will not harm my hair and I also get to colour it.
Thank you.

Ive used L'Oreal and it caused more hairfall than other products ive used. Im not sure if it was becasue of the ammonia, but a lot of products that dont have ammonia in them arnt permenate, im not sure if thats what your looking for but thats just what ive noticed. L'Oreal did keep my color longer than many other products like garnier nutrisse, which faded quickly. Also L'Oreal isnt tested on animals! Neither is Revlon which is also worked very well!

Yes ammonia hair color can cause hairfall, as well as major damage to the hair that remains. All box color has some form of ammonia in it and a fairly large amount at that. If you are going to continue using box color than you are taking your chances. If you are experiencing alot of hairfall than your best bet is to go and have your hair professionally colored, and if that is not a possibility than maybe at least you could get some really great contioners from a hairstylist near you. hope this helps.

Basically L'Oreal is a good brand. To me, there might be some undetected reasons why your hair is falling, so have a general health check up (blood count, ESR, visit your dentist and ORL specialist ... ) and reconsider your habits (do you eat healthy etc). Consider visiting a good hair salon and invest in professionally done hair coloring.

same thing happened to me, try a semi permanent hair color they are less damaging or go to a salon and have someone do it for you, when I have it professionally done it seems to be less damaging......Good luck

please go to a professional. at home coloring is always a mistake unless it's level 2 demiperment, which i still don't reccomend.
