WHY ARE YOU HAVING DOUBT?

2007-02-17 01:57:21 · answer #1 · answered by RAMAN IOBIAN 7 · 1 0

Belief in fictional deities is one of the root axioms that they have built their awareness around and for which a lot of their personal world view relies upon. If they were, for example, realize that God is fiction then it changes their entire world. Many of their friends will reject them. They might not have a place in their church community anymore. They would have to endure the stigma that other religions have put on Atheism as something that is evil, or a disease, a form of mental illness, something that must be cured. This is a very big step for most people who rely upon the comfort of their place in society and are not willing to put their social position at risk.

reality=Thinking about reality is like an anti-virus program for the mind. It clears out the bad information and replaces it with real information. Thinking about reality purifies the mind. Living "the lie" causes brain damage, not only by training your mind to rely on wrong information, but also by destroying mental processes. When the mind is full of lies you become unhealthy, mentally and physically. Life becomes confusing. Living the lie makes your mind less functional

Realists and Atheists are not the same thing although Atheism is a reality-based position. Our slogan as realists is, "If it's real, we believe in it." Atheism can perhaps be summed up in the statement, "If it's not real then we don't believe in it." While it is true that God doesn't exist, Atheism doesn't go beyond that. Once you prove that God doesn't exist, then what? What fills the vacuum? What do Atheists believe in? How do they define right and wrong? How are we supposed to live out lives? What is our purpose? If there is no God then does morality go away?

Yes the GOD is real because I have a good experience. He all ways help me when ever I am in joy or sorrow. There is a story that once a man was angry with god then god appered and said what you want? the man said that you never help me in my sorrow feelings then god promised that man that he will always be with him. Then where ever the man goes tere usually be a foot steps of god and one day the man had suddenly a serious problem then man so that there wsd no foot steps of god with him he felt so bad. Then suddenly the god spoke that I have lifted you in my hands so your sorrow destroys. So by this example we can say that god is alwaya with us.

In 623 B.C, Gautam Buddha was born in KapilVastu, a place at the base of Himalaya. He is the father of Buddhism. Buddha didn’t acknowledge the existence of God. According to him, no creator is required for this creation, hence the world is functioned by its ‘nature’. Like that is the opinion of Mahavir. According to him – the creation is functioned by the reaction between the living and non-living beings. Mahavir believed in soul and its reincarnation. Buddha used to believe in reincarnation but he used to deny the existence of soul. He didn’t get into the controversy of Soul – Prime Soul. He focused much on the search of remedies of miseries and its eradication. According to him a man doesn’t get rebirth when he becomes free from sins (misdeeds). The deeds are connected to the body, speech, mentality and the efforts. The life of a man in the other world is decided by his deeds. Man has to suffer for his own deeds. According to him (Buddha) – as the lamp get extinguished with the total reduction of the filament along with the oil, like that man gets free from the tentacles of life with the total eradication of his own desires and arrogance, which is called a salvation. Man can achieve salvation during his living period also.

Dear viney,
my personal belief is their is a god of love who longs for us to return to him, such as a parent who awaits the return of a child who has been away a long time only magnified by 1,000's.
this world has three belief systems of what happens when you die.

1) we decompose thats it no more, the end, the void,
2) one lifetime here to become god worthy, heaven/hell
3) reincarnation, multiple lives to learn all lessons needed to make the choice of love back to father dominion back here.

no matter what your belief system is you have a 66.666% of being wrong.

If there is more than this life, the safe bet would be to choose love/fellowship in all that you do.

godbless/godspeed

Ask this question from ur soul ur inner self becoz it depends upon person to person. if u think that he is there he is certainly there if u are in doubt weather he is present or not then he(GOD) will never will be there and if u think that there is no God then offcourse he is not there. Believe in him and he will always be with u . HE IS REAL FOR THOSE WHO THINK HE IS THERE.

First, ask yourself.....What is God.........I think you will not get answer for this question, because all beliefs are just beliefs......there is no place for an atom of doubt, the moment such things arise in ones mind.....it is lost...........

Let those who believe in God, do so., and if you want to be one of that..be so., but you cannot suspect something which you believe...........let it be the blind for the believer's, and let it be the superstitious for one do not...no compulsion...no fight at all..........feel free.....enjoy life floating............be fresh with positive mental attitude..

Nobody knows because nobody has ever seen the "GOD" , quite a number of people have felt the presence of some miraculous power arround them ,which they believed was becauseof the "God".

Therefore most of us believe that , "God" is there, everywhere, omnipresent.
