mine can. when i come home he lifts his top lip and starts waging his tail like crazy!!!

our one male does it and sometimes on command it so cute he'll show hes teeth and sneeze and snort... if u give him a lite tap on the butt he'll smile and we'll ask he thinks something is funny and he'll do it...he gets lots of attention for this so his brother started aswell but his is not as funny but i prasie him to.
there wasa dog at the shelter once that if she liked u she'd smile at ya...and jump up on ur shoulders and give ya a kiss and smile some more...

I have seen it before and the dog is smiling! Looks a little scary but they can do it! This dog is it an Irish Setter? That is what breed I saw do it?

I had a pit bull who used to smile when he was happy. We named him Smiley. He was a good dog. Wouldn't bite a flea.

Yes I know....to some ppl it does sound odd. But my grandma has a mini dachshund and if you tell hium to smile he will. it is the cutest thing.
