I used to be in the same situation, I think you should tell him how you feel, while he's single so you don't appear desperate. Just realize that after you tell him, your friendship most likely will never be the same whether he likes you back or not, not to mention if you break up chances are you won't really have the same friendship you used to. I personally think you should go for it, and find out if he likes you back, and if he doesn't you won't smack yourself later for not telling him. Prepare yourself for the "i don't like you like that" speech so your not depressed afterwards like I was, you'll get over it though

i am in the same boat, theres a guy i like, and its the same situation except that we dont tell each other everything, like we arent best friends but we are together a lot. i dont think its a good idea, it sounds like you would wreck your friendship. i would never want to lose a best friend....

Advice from an old man. Don't get too involved. Especially since you know his criteria already. You would probably always be wondering if he is cheating on you. Almost sounds like some of Kyle's friends. lol

I would say tell him. If your friendship is real, it will last though a "no", and if he says yes, that's great. You wont know until you try.
