A class of 8yr olds !! the teacher asks! can anyone tell the class a story with a moral to it ????

ok charlie the teacher says !!
well my grandad was in the war, and his small group of men got ambushed by the germans , and all the men around my grandad got killed!!
so my grandad sat in a ditch and thought ,oh well my time has come ::: so he took out a bottle of scotch and drank it !! 10 mins latter he got up and with only 5 bullets in his gun and a bayonet ! he rushed straight at them "he took them all out miss !! and came back a hero !
great story charlie !! but what is the moral of the story ???
