I told her I liked her romantically, but we decided to stay friends. I could not date then, but she wanted our friendship to grow. I decided I was going to romance her into a possible relationship now. As examples, I constantly encourage her everytime she puts herself down. I compliment her honestly a lot. We play footsie when we can, and we have very exclusive conversations quite a bit. We also hang out alone now quite a bit. Lastly, I sent her an ecard for VDay. Would you fall in love with a guy that did this stuff?

Thinking that way won't cause problems. The fact that it seems to anger you is what will cause the problems. If a couple have a healthy sex life then she doesn't need to be constantly seduced. She is an active participant in the love life. This makes genuine romantic gestures possible. It is when the intimate part of the marriage is suffering that these problems can arise. So you need to decide if you want to be an active participant in ALL phases of a marriage before saying "I do". SEE, YOU DON'T GET IT. IN A HEALTHY MARRIAGE, THAT'S NOT HOW THE GUYS SEE IT. YOU NEED TO DOUBLE UP ON THAT COUNSELING.

Falling in love is so unique to each person, male or female. Just be yourself and treat her how you feel about her...with respect and admiration. You are on the right track, definitely. If it is "meant to be" (cliche, I know) you'll know it soon enough. It sounds like she is into you too. She's obviously spending time with you and not with others....maybe now is a good time to approach the subject of dating again...sounds like you are already dating just not "officially".

To answer your question of would I fall in love with a guy who did that stuff---absolutely. It shows that you are real. You can let your guard down enough to play footsie and you value my thoughts and opinions through conversations. Just don't lose interest in her once you've got her. What I mean is, all too often men stop doing those things--after the courtship is over they revert back to their true piggish, selfish ways and that begins the end of the happily ever after. I don't know how old you two are or how serious this really is...I just want you to realize that a woman will fall in love with a man like this but if this isn't who you truly are and if you change after, her feelings for you will change, too.

Good luck!

It can help you but you could be considered the sweet guy friend that she falls back on in times of need. I think you just need to tell her how you feel again and that you would like something more than friendship... see how she reacts if she is hesitant she most likely considers you as the sweet harmless guy friend that she can come crying to when her heart is broken by another guy. Just get it out in the open and stop the tip toeing around. If you still don't feel this is enough ask her if she would ever consider a romantic relationship with you.. in the future.

I would fall in love with a guy who does that stuff. My boyfriend is the romantic type and I love it. It feels so good to just have someone there and you know that there not just there to have sex. We talk about everything. He brings me flowers for no reason at all. He tells me how beautiful I am at least once a day. And it just means so much to me to know that I have someone like him

Sounds like you two are already dating just without the "title" give her some time maybe she will come around and just let you have it....a girl can only hold back her true feeling for so long. Good luck I hope you get what you want out of this.

Well just think would you fall in love with a girl if that's what they did to you. My guess is that you would, you guys seem like you would get along great and would be able to stay together for a while. It doesn's seem like you shouldn't be together i mean do you guys tell each other everything? If so I think you should ask her out to see how it goes..E-mail me and let me know please I would like to know if everythings goes okay...

Yep, I probably would. My boyfriend always wants me to be happy no matter what happens and a little bit of encouragement always seems to make me feel happy again. I think it's all about care, passion, and encouragement.
