i'm going to the movies tonight with this guy i really like.
its going to be in the lower 40s or so.
what should i wear?

wear something thats cute and pretty but also comfortable- jeans are good because it sounds too cold to wear a skirt, on top i would wear a long sleeve shirt or some pretty sweater- and also , dont forget a cute purse for your gum and such

Wear something warm and shows you have common sense. Nothing is worse than a date with someone who does not know how to dress. You should always dress like a lady and reflect the place that you are going and to suit the weather. Don't expose yourself to the elements that's just crazy.

some ugz or fury boots, with some nice jeans and a cute button down shirt and a warm fury coat or bubble jacket with fur around the hood. and a cute hat and scarf set. with some lip gloss

Well you don't wanna dress up just be casual.
Wear black pants with high black boots that the pants will go inside and maybe a red or a tan long sleeve top would be gorgeous!

wear something warm, especially gloves, and boots. And be sure to put on a happy smile, and be friendly with him. He will love you more for how you treat him, than for what you are wearing.

be comfortable and warm (i assume you are talking Farenheit) if it was 40 celcius it would be tad warm for rugging up ---- be yourself and express yourself --- if he does not like you for who you are he is not worth going out with ----- enjoy
