I prefer pantene hair products because the company offers products for all types and texture of hair. Not to say that Dove doesn't. I personally use pantene products on fashion hair and its the best. Pantene has been in the hair product business longer than Dove.

i like both because dove has a great marketing campaign, but pantene feels better on my hair

Garnier is better. Pantene is ok but Dove is just awful. I can't use it.

I'll go with Dove because of the Campaign for Real Beauty. I know it is just a marketing tool but knowing that the magazine models aren't real is so very important.

Neither! You should try the new brand just coming out called ORGANIX. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair...plus it smells awesome! They have different collections for different hair types in different fragrances.
