Ok guys, what personality traits do you like in a girl. I have so much trouble keeping a boyfriend. At the risk of sounding conceded, I am a pretty girl, and I have no problem getting a boyfriend, but I have a big problem keeping them. What does a guy look for in a girls personality? Name everything you look for, be specific please, and no snotty answers please, thanks everyone!

.....OK here's what I like: honesty;sense of humour; dependability; thoughtfulness;respect for family and for her health; and a need to demonstrate her passions in everything he does;
.....Turn offs are: conceit, lying, stealing; smoking; drugs; disrespectful to others; contemptuous attitude; body piercing and tattoos; eating disorders; negative attitude and self loathing to name a few. You will notice the lack of anything referring to physical appearance other than piercings and tattoos.
.....In my opinion, if you are a hot chick and that is all you intend to bring to a relationship, you will fail over and over again. A person who is self absorbed is an empty sole that I sincerely feel sorry for. It sounds like you are unsuccessful because you are getting involved with guys who are attracted to your physical appearance, all they want is a quick shag. You're looking in the wrong place for the type of guy that will commit to you and love you forever. If this is what you want, try shedding the shallow outer "beauty" don't wear make up, wear frumpy cloths and get involved in whatever activities you enjoy the most. There is someone out there who will love you for who you are and will likely see your complete beauty right through your "frumpy" facade.

The first thing I like is a girl who's intelligent. Girls who can't spell or carry a conversation are immediately dropped from my list. So the way you expressed yourself in this question shows me that you are VERY INTELLIGENT AND A GREAT CANDIDATE. But, a girl/woman who thinks they're too pretty usually turns the whole thing around. Most Guys hate women who are conceited. If you're not able to keep a guy it could be that you seem more interested in yourself than anything else.

I like a woman who has a sense of humor and knows how to have a good time. Women who are constantly checking their make up or worrying about counting calories and stuff are a total turn off.

Women who are too serious and always talking about "the relationship" and planning a future with me before I even get a chance to know her are a turn off as well.

Most guys hate "fake-ness" in a woman. If you're faking everything, from your face with tons of make up to enjoying sex, what's the point. Some women can't "just be themselves" because they're too busy trying to be someone they think the guys will like. The problem with that is that you have no clue or don't take the time to find out what the guy really wants or likes.

Most women will thumbs down this reply because they can't handle the truth. They ask the questions but when we give our honest answers, they some how get pissed at the truth.

temper swings take place many times and without notice, one million/2 of which (melancholy and unhappiness) i tend to be secretive approximately. My strategies is by no ability on what that's going to be and that i daydream plenty. I relatively have no clue what i'm saying considering i like to speak and that i'm having a pipe dream on the comparable time, hazard is I wasn't questioning in any respect, purely saying random stuff. Cant sit down nevertheless. Come off as a ***** through fact i think of i'm extraordinary. look arrogant and domineering. decide to argue and could win based who against. whether I lose I nevertheless will think of i'm extraordinary. I even tend to purchase into everyones sob thoughts so i can get walked on easiely. Overemotional and comfortable to what others say, won't be able to consistently handle critism esp. if decrease than tension. ft and legs consistently harm. i'm consistently working late and forget approximately each thing. Overly love sleep. Have had alcohol and drug issues interior the previous, the two considered one of that have been used to fill emotional voids. i decide to get an prolonged with human beings yet I dont on the comparable time. The worst for me is a girl who thinks the world revolves around them. They can be so self centered. Everything that goes on does not have to be about her, or how it effects her. If a girl can show interest in anything other than herself, then its a huge plaus.

my problem was same as yours-kinda. but they just said 'be yourself and everything should be fine.'' the bigger problem was i don't know myself that well ,to be myself.so bummer. but may be you could just take it slow and easy. don't give in and get physical too quick. keep the charm going and add a dash of shyness. just be sweet and try and more over be friends with them.
