Until it's empty ha ha! ........... Actually i've noticed that after a day or so on the counter coffee will actually start to develope mold. So, i probably would not drink coffee that's more than 6 hrs old, it gets pretty awful tasting by then anyways.

Just make one and drink it, who actually sits down and thinks 'oh im gonna make a cup of cofee and leave it for a year and see if its safe to drink'.
Who drinks cold coffee anyway ;| eww

It's still OK to drink the next morning. It may sound gross, but to save money on coffee, whatever's left in the carafe sits until the next morning and we just nuke a cup. It's stronger, but still coffee.
