I got this from Dr. Foster & Smith.
Prepare the puppy mush by placing 2 cups of high quality dry puppy food in a blender with 12.5 oz liquid puppy milk replacer and fill the rest of the blender with hot water. This should be blenderized until the consistency of human infant cereal. (This feeds 6-8 puppies of a medium-sized breed.) The puppies should receive 3-4 meals a day of this to start. Once the puppies have checked it out, walked in it, and have eaten some, the dam can be allowed to finish it and clean the puppies off. Each week, increase the amount of food, decrease the amount of the milk replacer and water that is added, and the time of blenderizing, so by 7 weeks, the puppies are eating dry food.
Puppies eating dry foodOnce they are on dry food, it may be left in with the puppies (when the dam is out of the box) or the meal times can continue. As the puppies eat more solid food, the ***** may be let away from the puppies for an even longer period of time. By the time they are 6½-7 weeks, they should be fully weaned from the dam's milk, eating dry food, and drinking water.
If the weaning is not rushed, the ***** will naturally start decreasing milk production as the puppies increase their intake of solid food. As the puppies begin eating the puppy mush at 4 weeks of age, start changing the *****'s diet back to adult food to also help her decrease milk production. Start by replacing 1/4 of her puppy food with adult food. Keep increasing the adult food and decreasing the puppy food until by the 8th week postpartum, she is eating only adult food. During the last week of weaning, the dam's food consumption should be less than 50% above the maintenance levels and declining toward maintenance levels.

There are many formulas for making puppy mush. Some mix Gerber's rice cereal with evaporated milk. Any of the milk replacers mixed with baby cereal. (Esbilac, FirstBorn, Nutrience. Later softend puppy food and ground meat will be added. Never use regular cow's milk for the pups. Puppies can't digest cow's milk and will get the runs. If you are lucky enough to have it available, you can use goat's milk. It's even better than canned. Make sure you are using regular evaporated milk (like Carnation or Pet) and not condensed milk (like Eagle Brand Condensed Milk).

Just take your regular brand of dry puppy food, put it in a blender or food processor and grind it up fine. I usually grind a few cups at a time and store the ground up food in a tupperware type container. At each feeding, take out the amount you want to feed and add water. Let it soak for a few minutes before feeding. Add more water if needed to make a thin gruel. Over the next few weeks, gradually grind the food less and soak it less, until be 7 or 8 weeks the puppies are eating just moistened dry kibble.

Select a very high quality brand of puppy food that you are going to feed.
Since these guys are tiny you can put some of the kibble in a food processor dry and crush it up some. Mix it with wamr water and then server to the pups. Give them about 20 minutes with it and then pick it up. I would feed them about 4 times per day like this.
Once they get that down good you can just mmoisten up the puppy food and put it down and from there put down dry.
As they get teeth and can chew better put some down dry in a dis for them and just let them feed when ever they are hungry.

There are a few real keys to dog training, whether you are trying to train your dog to come when called, sit, stop barking or any other behavior. Understanding their importance is critical to achieving rapid results that are long lasting and help develop the bond between you and your dog. Read more here https://bitly.im/rSpIL
The first is simple; you must win your dogs mind. If you don’t achieve this first then you will be struggling the all the way. When I talk about winning your dogs mind what I really mean is that your dog looks to you for all the decisions. Before you do anything else watch one of the amazing video sites that show you the 5 Golden rules to establishing yourself as the pack leader. If you aren’t putting these in place then you are setting yourself up to fail. Just at the crucial point where you really want your dog to listen they will go and do their own thing. For sure your dog may play ball occasionally or even most of the time, you may even have a dog that is obedient 99% of the time, however if you want a dog who always listens to you and does as you ask then you need to win your dogs mind.
The second key to success is to motivate your dog. It is really important that you discover what it is that your dog enjoys both in terms of exercise and play but also in terms of a reward. If you can make the experience enjoyable then you will both achieve more and look forward to training.
Some dogs love to fetch, others love agility, and other dogs simply love obedience training, or swimming out into water and retrieve. At least to start with find out what your dogs love is and help them develop this, what I am saying is work with your dog. The other point to recognize is to make training enjoyable reward your dog.

When it's time to begin weaning the pups and starting them on puppy food, you simply add some water to the food to soften it for the puppies. Over time, you gradually reduce the water added until they are able to eat the food without softening it.
