I've been there. Keep in mind you're still going to change a lot from 18 to 23, and the "you" now that is in love with this 40 year old man may not be the "you" then that stays in love with him. Typically, girls that find themselves in these situations (myself included) are looking for that strong, interesting male figure that their dad wasn't in their life. I would say to pass on the relationship, but if you can't, at the very least...do not marry him and do not have any kids with him. If you're still with him and love him terribly when your 23-25, then go ahead and marry him, but not before.

Honnestly, love has no age. But you got to think clearly about this.
Nothing is worse than being stuck with something you end up not being happy with. If he loves you, he can wait. As you wait, all the answers will come to you. Its just a matter of time. Take your time and you will get your answer.
goodluck
cheers

hi. it may nt be wat u want to hear, but herez my answer for all its worth...first he will chase you/ let you do the dirty work for him to ease his mind that everythingz okay...then will come the roller coaster affair...and then definitely, the downfall...either he will have belated guilt, or he will leave you for "your own sake" or even if you guyz continue, you will be the loser. imagine, when ur just 38, he will be 60....its too much for u to handle at the young age of 18...look for someone ur own age, someone u can understand...dnt let someone use you. pls respect urself....dnt think, if u have a problem of insecurity, that an older guy wont leave you. he jolly well can...tell him to pick someone his own age...plzzzz listen to me.
