Your viewpoint is so laughable, if it weren’t so sad. Let’s put aside the matter of whether Christianity, and especially its belief in eternal perdition, is veridical or not. The fact that you have such a vitriolic attitude towards Dawkins, or anyone else that disagrees with your views of this world, or the world to come, attests to how morally bankrupt you are, and furthermore it is a testament to how little efficacy your faith has in engendering what is best in mankind.
The fact is I have heard countless so called “Christians” express glee at what they believe to be the imminent demise of unbelievers. Forget how detestable, unjust and immoral a doctrine of eternal suffering is; the fact that you revel in the suffering of others shows that you and many, though not all, of your Christian cohorts are morally reprobate. I seriously doubt that any of you live up to ethical teachings of the Christ you say you profess belief in.
You, through your own malice, have proven Dawkins point quite aptly that religion has worked to stymie moral progress. As Steven Weinberg stated: “Good people will do good things, and bad people will do bad things. But for good people to do bad things—that takes religion”

hi,
i would just like to point out that it can be proven that heaven is actually hotter than hell
It says in the bible something along the lines that heaven recieves energy from the moon equal to that that the earth recieves from the soon plus seven fold etc..., don't know the chapter, but its essentially saying that heaven gets 50 times the energy from the the moon that earth does from the sun, which using the stefan-boltzmann constant means that heaven has to be a good 540 degrees centigrad, and in the same chapter it says that the damned will go to hell with burning brimestone and sulphur, and as you know sulphur burns at about 440 degrees celcius, and no it wouldnt be higher otherwise that would be sublimation and thats not the same,
so God says that heaven is actually hotter than hell.
So i say Richard Dawkins is better off in hell, and the christians are the ones who'd better stock up on sun screen.
I know your gonna ban this answer cause you are afraid of logic, but those are the facts according to God.
peace,
tomyu ; )

What? Isn't he the guy who hosted the show "family feud" on tv?
Look, regardless of who the guy is, don't figure that you know where anyone is going when they die. Yes, he'll find out that Christianity is a reality, but beyond that, you cannot decide who is and who is not going to hell.
Why? Because when Christ returns, there will be a 1000 yr. period of teaching and disipline, and in the end of that time, many people will convert - they will have the proof in front of them. This is not a second chance, its just that God knows that with what is being taught, alot of people do not have a true opportunity to learn truth - when someone is lied to, like the apple in the garden story for example - why should they blindly follow nonsense? If you lie to someone, they will never believe another word you say. Don't be too fast to judge them.
God would prefer a person use their brain, not follow like cattle.
Leave this business to God who knows the heart, and maybe you will make it to Heaven.
(yes, I am Christian).

the only burning that Richard Dawkins will do is if he is cremated. what puzzles me is why didn't god tell the Jews about hell and only decided on the platonic model in the new testament. i wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that most Christians at that time were Greek.

You sound as though you wish he would. Thats wrong. Ony Dawkins will know for certain. He may yet come around and see the folley of his thoughts and one day accept Christ as his Lord and Saviour.

People like you make me wish that there really was a "Judgement Day". I imagine that God wouldn't think too highly of his creations getting joy out of other people burning for an eternity.

Naw, Jesus doesn't hold petty grudges like that! They will march over to the local tavern and have some celestial ale together while Jesus tells him where he went wrong.

"I wish that I will have the opportunity to see....."
Pardon me, but that does not come across as a christian attitude.
If you have that attitude due to the influence of your church, you church is lacking regarding the A,B,C's of Christianity.
Have you never read Ezekiel 18:23:
"Do I take any delight at all in the death of someone wicked,’ is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord and not in that he should turn back from his ways and actually keep living?’

Tis about time people realize, theres no such thing as a savior.
If you do good, and do it for a higher cause than to gain money, fame etc, youre saved.
