I have to say that it is a good thing. I think that if the two of you broke up all the time when you were living together that the two of you are too immature right now to have a serious relationship and the time away from each other should put things in perspective.
You should take this time and breath and think is he the one. And you should also brace yourself because he could come to the realization that you are not the one for him. Alot can happen in four months prepare yourself and make sure you and him keep an open line of communication. If he or you decide that you are going to see other people you should remain honest and let the other know before going out with the new person. Nothing should be a surprise in the end.

I don't have access to all the information with your situation. It sounds like you are both not very old and not ready for a relationship of this magnitude. IF you love him, try cooling it for a while, give him a chance to prove his honest intentions, but be prepared to move on if his intentions are other than what he is telling you. I guess what I'm trying to say is best summed up in the old saying, "If you love something, let it go, if it comes back it's yours, if it doesn't it never was". Good luck

I know your hurt now but maybe this four mo. break up you will find yourself and relize that if this guy really loved you he would stand beside you through anything! I'm not saying this rudely but it sounds to me that his friends father is trying to point him a different way. Be careful and dont let yourself get hurt. Maybe you will also find a caring person and make him regret what he has done to you..

I don't think the 4 moths break is such a good idea...
However, u should talk to him and understand the reasons behind the necessity of this break, if u r convinced then go ahead... if not then it seems like an excuse to breakup

No it's not. If he's going to let someone tell him he can't see you regardless of living situations it's not good. Why would someone say that anyway?? If he didn't just go out and find a new place to live then that should tell you something.

Why were you living together in the first place? Go find yourself a real man who is willing to make a commitment.

Wake up and smell the roses; lover boy is out sewing his wild oats; and if it isn't with you...
It is not a good thing. If he really loved you, there would be NO break, even if he to crawl over broken glass naked. This is just an excuse to fool around.

sry hun i dont think its so good. guys make a lot of promises but they dont always keep them.
He might be seeing someone else... for all u no he might be cheating but if u trust him enough and if he really loves you things will work out.
But for now you shouldn't be worrying yourself. Calm down and eat lots of chocolate and ice-cream =D

It might not look good but take it as a test for your love. You might gain something out of it instead.
