This question is preposterous; as if you didn't know that god loves a** kissers and yes men more than everyone else. By everyones description on here, I suspect that god is a double-toker anyway.

Hey, I humble myself before God, because the Supernatural is an awesome thing - Just an Angel puts human beings down on their faces as dead - keep that in mind when you think of facing the Christ.
I believe this with my whole heart, whether I be passing the doobie, or not.

Because humbling is a contrast of PRIDE. Which of course is why so many isn't on Gods good side. As far as the dubbe, well when He walked in the flesh He didn't need to get high cause He stayed high on the Holy Ghost. But, you can pass ME one !!!

Because arrogance is the root of all evil. It keeps you from truelly learning. Empathy, understanding, appriciation, are stagnant or at least limited by not having a humble frame of mind that we don't know and can't know everything. Only the brave are humble, in that they let down their defensive walls to acknowlege a link with something unknown.

Consider your employer or customer, who are providing the business or money that you need to live on.... Do we say this to them, " nice work, dude"? for providing a living for you. Of course in a common man's perspective not, we humble ourselves, we try to please them to the best, in order to find favor in their eyes. But they are mere humans like all of us. Do we say this to your parents who brought you forth to this world?
When we are able to differentiate the human society that we need to give respect and humble, Why not humble yourselves to GOD, the almighty, your creator and your well wisher and ultimately your life-giver. All these human society may not exist continually, but the love of your heavenly Father, your creator is permanent and rock perfect. When you humble yourselves before the Almighty, you find favor in his eyes, and impossible becomes possible to you. "With men many things are impossible, but with God all things are possible" - Matthew 19:26
So it is always good to show our gratitude to God for his love and the life that he has given us, by showing our deep respect and humble ourselves before HIM.
