the same guy again... we just met recently and we've been talking for like a month.. i don't know if he told me once that he is still trying to forget that girl that rejected him... he sometimes jokes about accompanying me in wherever place that I wanted to go to... or he sometimes ask if I like to see him play basketball or whatever... he texts me but when I text back.. he won't reply... i don't wanna be his excuse to forget his past... i don't wanna be his cover up... do you think he likes me?... is he sincere?...

wow you don't want to be on the rebound end you will end up hurt big time....I say move on with yourself till this guy has had his time to heal from the break up then go back and make your move....

Well to me it just sounds like petty flirting. But since he wont text you back I'd say he doesn't like you like a lot. There may be some feelings there, but if I were you. I'd keep my guard up. If he cant forget about the other girl then he might be a little shifty if you two ever got together. But when he jokes about going places with you, you should ask him if he really wants to go and if he does, then let him. Who knows? It could end up a date. He could realize how much you care and he'll forget all about the other chick.

Girl, tell him how you feel. Tell him that you have the feeling that he is just using you as his rebound girl and that if that is the case that you aren't interested in putting in that wasted time.
Tell him that you are looking for someone that is sincere and that is interested in getting to know you and possibly building a relationship with. And if he is not interested in these things then he needs to find another rebound girl.
That you are not the one.

is this girl from a recent past? if so, how long ago was that? because you also have to give him time to grieve about his past.
if this guy really likes you, he will find a way to call, text and meet up with you. girl, you do not need to make any effort on his account. but it appears that you already like him otherwise, this will not be bothering you. if you want to seriously forget him, then find activities to occupy your time and attention. if he is serious about his intentions, he will find a way to see you, talk to you.

If he never replies, I'd have to wonder about his sincerity. People, especially those on the rebound, do and say a lot of things to satisfy the moment.

he may seem nice but he could juz be using u to forget tat other girl (u won't believe how many guys do tat!). u should ask him straight up wat his intentions are- especially if u like him! but if u ask me, tat bit abt not replying ur txt- not very encouraging. whatever it is DONT LET HIM LEAD U ON!
