Please, answer this question only if you are well informed about the Occult Arts and/or you practice them.
First of all, is it true that all people have magic abilities, more or less, and that they can improve these skills by practice? How can you be sure which magician class you belong to? What if you think you belong to a certain category and after a few years of practice you discover that you're actually something else, or even worse, you still don't know what you are best suited for. I read that if you're confused you can try asking for the help of a Diviner, but what if you have no-one to turn to?
I've been reading about the Occult Arts for a while and I know what they involve, and that you start practising magic overnight. I'm just looking for a few answers on the topic right now.

Like anything in life, it is a process. Just study and practice. Yes, everyone has abilities, some we know, some we don't, some magical, some not so much. It doesn't matter which magician class you belong to, if you study for years and find that you are better suited to something else, you still take with you the knowledge you have accumulated. If you never find your place it may be that you are a teacher intended to learn a little about everything to help others get started. Relax, its not that critical, there is not time limit of life, knowledge or skill, it will come when it comes.

I must disagree with the Christians who think that magick is evil. Magick is not evil. Occult means hidden, not evil.
Magick (with "k" at the end) is the movement of natural energies (such as personal power) to create needed change.
Before you join any group that embraces Magick, you need to decide what is it that you want. To learn about magick alone or to learn about the religions that embraces magick.
After you know that, you must study a little about each path. And when you know which path appeals to you, then go for it, and study it deeper.
For us Wiccans, magick is part of our religion. Wicca is a religion that embraces magick. Not everyone who practice magick is Wiccan. There are many places online where you can learn about different types of religions who practice magick, or about people who use magick without being religious.

Hello friend,
To me , you are asking really " what is my purpose in life" " where do I belong"?
These questions come to all those that seek the one real truth, and desire to find it no matter what. All things come in time. And as you are ready , doors will open to your questions. Remember there is good and there is Evil. I suggest always looking to the Good. There is a real power as a REAL Christian, just as there is in a REAL Wiccan. Some just dont understand there potential, with God. So they turn to the other side.
I have studied almost every Religion there is my friend, and no other will ever fill your heart and soul as with God. if you ever what to chat I run the Christian ministry at www.angelsharbor.org ,I invite you to visit us. We many online groups that may help you in your search for the truth. The Word says" seek the truth and you will find it"

Been there, done that but I can tell you it is not all it is cracked up to be. anyone and everyone has magical powers. it is called deception and is the work of Satan. To do magic, you have to practice deception so you are not caught or found out as to how you are doing the magic trick. If you read any in the bible you will see it is condemned for good reason as it is doing Satans work. If you are just wanting info and not into it already, my advice to you is run the other way as fast as you can and stay out of it.

I am well informed with the original manuscripts of the Writings of God, which I can tell you, Satan knows line by line, precept upon precept;
Why do you think Satan knows Scripture so well? Because the war that he started in the last earth age, is still continuing today. Are you sure you want to hop on his bandwagon?
If you are sure, then have at it. Its your ship and nobody can sail it but you.
Keep in mind though, that Satan not only knows Scripture better than the lay Christian, but he also believes it to be true. Maybe you ought to do what Satan does, and find out what it says.
