A question FIRST.....When you say NO PICTURE...

[1] Does your TV come on at all...does it operate normally
when turned on?

IF IT DOESN'T WORK you probably have a shorted Horiz output transistor and the BEEP is caused by your Main Power transformer trying to supply power to a short....This must be repaired by a qualified TV service technician...Look one up in the Yellow pages under TV - Service and Repair....

IF IT DOES WORK NORMALLY then You have discovered the Standby transformer BEEPING because it is supplying POWER TO THE MICROPROCESSOR !

This is normal and does NOT REQUIRE SERVICE. The beeping is caused by the transformer turning on and off....also these transformers are small and lightweight, but they use a higher frequency to drive it, so it sounds like a Beep beep beep beep beep beep.......

The power supply inside the set is in "safety mode " which happens when the set tries to draw too much current, in safety mode the power supply senses the fault and switches off, once it is off of course it can no longer sense the fault so switches back on again ! it does this add infinitum !.Cheers Pete.
