Yes. There are places called "Sedation Dentistries" that people can go to. Some people are afraid of going to the dentist, so they want to be put out. These places are more expensive, though...

If you are talking about dying, probably not (do you get it? sorry it's a bad joke)

Some dentists offer this option, usually just for major work like extractions, but sometimes very anxious patients can get it for general dental work. Call them and ask.

But, many dental insurances won't cover the cost of full anesthesia

You will see advertisements for "sleep dentistry". You are in laa laa land remember nothing, but the anesthesia used is not like the heavy anesthesia used for major surgeries. It is safe or it would not be used. It must be administered by a licensed anesthesiaologist. Many use Nitrous Oxide that is good too.

Mainly we do not put patients under general anasthetic,
its too high risk so this should be performed in a dental hospital with appropriate working conditions, equipment and an anaesthetist present.

Sedation is offered in some practices.

there are some dentists that offer sedation during procedures. you could look into those. but anesthesia? i'm not sure since any kind of anesthetic brings in unnecessary risk.
