The Vatican endorses evolution. John Paul mentioned: right this moment, rather much one million/2 a century after e book of the encyclical, new understanding has further approximately the acceptance of the belief of evolution as better than a hypothesis. it relatively is definitely marvelous that this theory has been steadily commonplace via researchers, following a sequence of discoveries in numerous fields of understanding. The convergence, neither sought nor fabricated, of the end results of artwork that grow to be performed independently is in itself an significant argument in prefer of the belief.

I love your questions Thomas. I smile when I read them.
What if the pope does find out the Truth. The only truth I know, and the only Truth that lasts, is that jesus is my savior. Well then, if the pope finds out the Truth, he will have a relationship with the Father through our Lord Jesus

The Pope dies not deny theories of evolution as being part of God's Divine plan (although it did many moons ago). It sounds like the only people who have their heads in the sand here might be a non-believer.
Good Luck!!!

Interestingly enough, the Catholics do NOT take a literal view of the Bible, and the Bible is just one part of their religious tradition. Ask any priest about this. You need to talk to the Baptist and other Bible-thumping sects to get them heated on a discussion like this.
Elizabeth W is right. This is not controversial.

Why do so many non-Catholics think the pope is a creationist?
The Catholic church does not find contradiction or conflict between evolution and Christian faith.
For Pete's sake, is it so hard to go to Google and type "catholicism evolution"?

The Pope IS a puppet.
He probably already knows the truth and that is why he wields it's power only over those who take his words over the words of god.
The bible and other holy books have stood the test of time and corruption for a reason.
think about it.

I'm not sure how happy you would be with the consequences....
When it comes to the Catholic church, what the Pope says, goes. If the Pope decided to reject creationism in favour of theory of evolution, all signed-up Catholics would have to become de facto 'evolutionists' (unless they quit the church to maintain their own beliefs).
