If you mean sense of balance, it's actually in the inner ear (the utricle and the saccule)

If you're referring to keeping your balance as you walk, etc. It's your ears believe it or not. There is fluid in your inner ear and that serves as your the source of sensing where your body is so you can keep your equilibrium (balance) as well as helps you hear. Your brain then sends this information to your eyes and tells you which way to move your head to keep your balance.

If for any reason there is an abnormal increase or decrease in the signal being sent to the brain, from any of the balance canals, the brain will perceive this as an exaggeration or hallucination of motion. The result is that we commonly term dizziness or vertigo. This can happen when you're sick. You can also feel this way from what we know as motion sickness. That's because you are moving faster than the brain is keeping up and causes the dizziness.

Each and every part of body is important for bodies balance. Defect in one causes sever disturbances in life. Think what will happen if you loses a hand ,leg ,outer ear, eyes etc ... there is many. Specifically i will say we should take proper care of our stomach as it is the primary production factory. If stomach is well, all other organs will be working perfectly. All other organs like brain, heart, liver, kidney, etc comes next. Therefore a healthy and balance diet is success of life. Similarly there are other endocrine glands which are responsible for body balance internally.

your bodies balance as in not falling over, etc is the inner ear.. it is what stabalizes your balance and when you get ear infection you see how you can feel unstable and like you are falling down.. now for a healty body... i would say your kidneys.. that filter out all the toxins of the body allowing all your other organas to perform well. your pancreas has a big part of it as well as your heart.. this is the balance of the body.. your bones are actually a part of your bodies balance as well.. you have to keep them strong and healthy to maintain a correct balance..
