People around the world cut their fingers every now and then when chopping meat and veg.

Onions would probably be a good guess, as those are probably one of the most common things to be chopping up. However, my guess is tomatoes, because they seem soft and easy to cut, so folks are more likely not to worry about how sharp their knife is, but that skin is tricky and a dull knife slips right off and into fingers.

For me it has always been lemons - burns like fire too, as soon as the juice gets in the cut - Ouch!

Cutting up a whole chicken has proved to be what has gotten me more than I can count over the years. They are greasy, slimy & slippery. OUCH!
