Yes you can, but make sure you get one offered thru your Ford dealer so that you don't have warranty issues. They tend to be a little more expensive, but it is a guaranteed installed unit that normally will come with a vehicle alarm system as well. Make sure you park it in neutral with hand brake on every time you exit the vehicle.

The Ford unit will also run the vehicle for 10 minutes and then shut off, and you could also shut it down from the remote by hitting the button again.

you can get one (aftermarket) ford does not sell a remote for manual transmission vehicles as of yet. Most remotes will not cuase problems if they are instaleld properly by someone who knows what they are doing. so be carful on who you get to install it for you.

Yes remotes are made specific for a manual tranny vehicle.

sure just have to park it out of gear with emergency brake engaged.
