I'm sure you don't look disgusting. One answer says to use Sanctuary product, they are really good so give that a go.
Also:
Take Vitamin B, E and Zinc supplements which are great for skin conditions
Eat loads of fruit and veg.
Drink tons of water (as much as you can manage, try fruit juices too). Change pillow cases every night
Tie hair back away from face
Germolene is good for spots, put a bit on every couple of hours (get it in Boots, Supermarkets etc)
If you are female - Don't wear makeup - or at least take it off as soon as you can
Don't touch your face or spots (just spreads them if you do)
Good luck.

I've tried all the products, but still suffer them on my cheeks. The only thing I have found is something I've done myself. I had a cream cleanser from boots spa sanctuary range and mixed it 50/50 with some fine salt. Use as a scrub twice a day - it gently exfoliates, the salt dries the spots out as you scrub and the cream cleanser stops the rest of your skin drying out, leaving it soft and glowing (removes dead skin cells). I've been using it for a week now and the results were almost instant.
It was the most genius moment of madness I had, because it actually works! It gets rid of blackheads as well as the painful ones. Stings a bit sometimes, but then you know its working...
I've checked its safe with someone that knows about these things and they said it was absolutely fine!

If you find none of the products are working, try eating a fruit & veg diet for a few weeks. Alternatively, try washing your face, using soap & water, instead of just splashing water on. Or try doing both.
