Peter Pan brand and certain batches of Wal-Mart's Great Value house brand have had a salmonella outbreak that has sickened almost 300 people nationwide since August. We had the peanut butter as well as my mother, and my mother in law. Did you have the peanut butter? To see if you did look on the lid of the jar and if the first 4 digits is 2111 then that the one that has been recall. You can return it to the store you got it at.

yes - and my husband has been severly sick. They cannot diagnosis if it is samenollea, but, it makes me so nervous. Both the baby and I are fine. We are returning it to the store for a refund and are going to go back for more tests....

I have a Great value with 2111 that is not open. I am going to exchange it at the store. That is why they call it a recall. They can afford to throw it out easier than I can.
