bridalgown.com, has anyone used this to get gown quotes?

I got the book Bridal Bargains from the library. In the book, they suggest that you go to bridalgown.com to get price quotes on a dress. I know the dress that I want (designer & style #), so I did it. Well a "prescreened gown discounter" emailed me today and said that they can get me the dress for $935 + shipping. If I go to the trunk show of an authorized bridal shop it would be about $1200.

Has anyone used bridalgown.com? and bought a dress from it? what would you do if you were in my place?

I don't like ordering anything thru the mail cause you never know what you are going to get until it gets there.
