Hi -
So I have a guy friend who I guess you could say I'm close with. I think he likes me but I'm not sure. Here are some of the reasons why and with them, may you please respond with your opinions and suggestions on what I should do or if he likes me:
- he told my friend he wanted to take me out to dinner and a movie on v-day [but he told her he didn't like me? confusion...]
- when i told him about this guy who wanted to hu with me, he got angry and started saying what a jerk he was, etc
- i was joking with him and said "i attract creepy guys" and he goes "hahahaha me *cough*" [this was online, btw]
- he always pushes my hair back really gently or compliments how good it looks
- he messes up his hair just so i'll fix it for him [after i fix it he says, i did that just so you'd fix it]
- my friends asked him if he liked me and they said he smiled for a bit, finished eating his cookie, and said "it's just platonic]
the signs are confusing me, and idk wether he likes me!

he also teases me playfully or tries to bother me by pinching me or taping me playfully.
one day he called like five times just to say hi or see what was up and what i was doing. the convos didnt last long, as i had nothing to say and i guess he didnt either ... but he always called like every 2 hours to check in.

when i asked him who he liked, he said he was neutral; he didn't like anybody. is that a sign that he's making it clear that he obviously doesn't like anybody else but not giving away that he likes me?

he has nicknames for me - he said "happy valentine's day, goober" which is slang for peanut! and he calls me by other nicknames too.

It's obviously that he likes you! If I were you, I will ask him whether he likes me straight away. Stop guessing and waiting! Time is so precious!

well sounds like he likes you to me maybe hes scared of telling you because he doesnt want to crush your freindship i would say wait till he makes a move witch i dont think will be to long and dont go on about other guys when you are with him as this will push him away why not ask him to come and stay for a freinds sleep over sounds lame but if you are spending the whole night together someing might happen then well thats what i would do hope this helps

Drop a few subtle hints that ur interested in being more than just friends and see how he reacts, then u'll get a definate answer but from what u've said he is definately interested!

Hi. If a guy cant take EFFORT for you, if he cant PROPOSE to you, if he is not even SURE that he likes you, what are doing around him? there must be millions more to chose from. Respect urself, lady...the world will fall at ur feet. Boost ur confidence levels.

Yeah, I think he likes you! He just said he didn't like you so you're friend wouldn't tell you!
Next time he messes his hair up, fix it half way, stop and stare into his eyes. If he likes you, he'll kiss you!
