Im going to install kubuntu (linux) as a dual boot and Ive been told to make a boot disc for Windows XP if I want to unistall kubuntu later so how can I create one?

WIndows xp cd is bootable.If u want to create one
You need to have a software like Nero burning rom
and follow the steps given below

Windows XP gives you the ability to quickly and easily create a boot disk (unlike Windows 2000 and Windows NT). Assuming that you have the necessary hardware installed, insert a floppy disk into your computer’s floppy drive.

Next open Windows Explorer (Start | All Programs | Accessories). Right click your floppy drive and click Format. From the dialog box that appears, click the Create an MS-DOS startup disk option. That is all you need to do. Windows will place the necessary files on the floppy disk that are required to boot the computer

Can't you just install it on a seperate partition.

Once you uninstal linux, it should automatically go back to the other partition ?

I am not sure.

first of all take a bootable windows xp cd
put it on a cd writer then burn the image of that cd and then write that image in a new cd , thats it
