If so, what are your thoughts on it? I know this was supposedly written during his "dark period" because he's very anti-Christian in his writing but I think he makes some excellent points.

I haven't, but Twain was a famous atheist. I read "Life on the Mississippi" a few years ago for the first time and he takes the piss out of riverboat preachers.

Another great book is Thomas Paine's Age of Reason.

particular I study it 40 years in the past, heavily. I truthfully have by no ability been too programed by ability of my Christian society. humorous is humorous and Mark Twain is humorous. study 'Huck Finn', i assumed it became into humorous too. additionally, 'Innocents overseas'.
