Yes,it's called straightening. It's done chemically.I had it done myself(it didnt work but it does on many cases) so i can explain exactly what was done to me and pros and cons.First of all they washed and shampooed my hair. They then got the straightening formular and scraped it through my hair;this process took just over an hour.It was left in for a while then washed out,you then have your hair dryed and i had it straightened with irons to run over it.It took ages about 3 hours all together.I was told not to wash my hair for two days(i later found out it was a week). Before it was washed it was extremely soft and silky and shiney and i loved it.It was pricey,i paid £127.But i regret it all! After being washed my hair went wavy again, not only that but what was once sheeny was now brittle and my crown sticks up and feels blunt. My hair is permenantly uncontrollable static which it wasn't before. But it could be worth it as its supposed to control frizz even if it might not work.I reckon it was just unprofessional not the actual treatment.I was told to leave it in a lot less longer than i should have been and they let my gown rumple up te hair therefore sticking it like that. But if you have the money, its a good idea!Good luck. xx
ps:just dont use Royston Blythe!!

Yes, there are chemical hair straighteners. You can also use a flat iron, it's similar to a curling iron, but flat.
Chemical straighteners can be damaging, you can try just for kids. It's available at places like CVS and Brooks. It does not contain the most harmful ingredients.
After your hair is straightened you should use some kind of anti-frizz serum. It will help it look and stay smooth.
Good Luck!

you can go to the salon and ask for a relaxer which will calm your hair down to the point it will be manageable but its not good for your hair. anytime you get anything done to your hair with chemicals you want to make sure you use the best possible products. i suggest redken products if you can get them cuz they work the best and they have different things that can help with any problem, you can ask your stylist or the salon for them too. you could actually use certain redken products to straighten your hair without using chemicals or spending a fortune. they have a straightening gel that you put on and blow your hair dry and it takes a lot of the body out, but still not perfectly straight. good luck!

Hi I have straightened my hair using Boots own permanent straightening cream. It costs just £15. You would need to grow your hair a bit. It is a bit time consuming but should be easy for you to do as you will only have short hair unlike me. It's very effective.

if you ask in the hairdressers, some offer what they call 'permanent straightening'. now obviously this cant be permanent, as your hair grows, but it will last for an average of 6 months, or until your hair grows out.

i had this done, and it was the best descision i ever made! no more burning my hair with straighteners!

You can get Yuko hair straightening. It does work but you have to make sure you look after it cos it gets very very dry and frizzy otherwise. We warned though it costs around £300+

you can use a perm lotion to also straighten your hair.
however, you would probably have to grow your hair first and suffer the curly before treatment would be effective

yes you can get hair straightened, just like our coloured folk, if you notice they all seem to have tight curly hair, and they have it straightened out at the salons. and it does make a difference.
