What are some good tips for stretching? Should I stretch every day? Or should I take a day off every now and then? I've just started TKD and don't want to over do it and hurt myself. I'm 25 and have always played baseball. This is my first time taking TKD. Serious answers only please. I don't care what some of you think of TKD.

Daily stretching is good, just ensure you do a light warm up to pump blood into your muscles. Your home regimen should not be as rigid as what you do in the gym,a standardised 15 min plan should do. Go to stretching.com or even (surprise surprise!) bodybuilding.com and see the array of simply techniques you could inco-operate for your use. Key point is, hold each strech, breath well and most importantly, have fun! wish you the best!

Each day I do 20 push-ups. 10 in the morning and the rest at night. Work/stretch out your arms and legs lightly. Know your own limits.

Every single day!! You might not workout every day, but you should stretch that often.
