I think kittens. They are more feisty and like to climb up drapes and curtains, scratch up the furniture, knock plants off of counter tops etc. etc...Until they are trained (and it is possible) not to destroy things and are neutered or spayed they can be little devils. But most of them can become very well mannered cats if you have enough patients or can look at the funny side of all the trouble they can get into. Then there are some who just refuse to be told what they can and cannot do. I like them either way. Cats have lots of personality I really don't consider cats or kittens being trouble. But if I have to choose which is more trouble it would be kittens,(but they are so cute!!)

It depends on how much time you have to spend with your new pet.
if you don't have much time to train a kitten the rules of the house, then get a cat. If you don't have much time to familiarize the cat with it's new environment then don't get a cat. If you are seriously considering getting a cat or a kitten, think about getting two. This way they can keep each other company, and are not as likely to get into trouble due to boredom.
Whichever you decide to get, PLEASE DO NOT get it declawed. It is very painful and very cruel to the cat/kitten.

a kitten.....because,they are very naughty,they are caught sometimes or not caught doing something they are suppose to do..........a cat knows that how it grown out.to be more realistic on there behaviors when they was little they were taught and sometimes whoop (hard or soft which is suppose to be soft) they are hard head....if they get to comfortable they'll start getting in your bed,stratching,peeing and pooing everywhere,running away and anything else so yea that is what they do and very cute certain times :)
