It can be any day. On mon, tues, wed A will be telling the truth and B lying that they are lying. and on thurs, fri, sat B is telling the truth and A lying that they are lying. On Sunday they can say anything as they both can lie.

On Thursday A may say to B: You are lying! and B may say to A: You are lying! and there will be no contradiction to the conditions you've set. A will be telling the truth and B will be lying as they usually do on Thursday.

it could be any day of the week, to say "i am lying" seems like a meaningless statement, if you say "i am lying" and that statement is true, you are lying, however if you say "i am lying" and that statement is a lie, then you are also lying, so it could be any day of the week... i could of course have completely missed the point, maybe it is sunday heh i dont know, nice question though

If they say they r lying they mean they are speaking the truth coz they are liars indeed. So,the day ought to be sunday, when they both speak the truth.
