I'm 5' 6 tall and weigh 150 lbs. I just look a bit fat, I just wanna lose a few pounds so that I get rid of my double chin :D
everyday I count how many calories I eat I find out it's less than 1000, so I think my metabolism is messed up, it's not that I eat less than 1000 on purpose, I just have a little appetite. I have tried so many times to eat more, but I just can't, I feel like I'm gonna through up and feel sick in my stomack, so I was wondering is there another way to raise my metabolism without eating more?

It sounds lke your body is in 'starvation mode'.

Because of this, if you eat a little bit more, you will lose weight more easily.

Eat a small amount of healthy hor derves(sp?), berries, veggies or a V8 (you get the idea) every hour or so. That way, you won't feel so full yet your body will receive nutrients in an on-going basis. That should turn off the 'starvation mode' and you will then reap the benefits of weightloss.

Well-as long as you stay away from sugar and fast food!

Well if your eating 1000 calories a day you win't lose weight and your metabolism will be very slow. You HAVE to eat more thats why your feeling sick you have to start off eat a little more each day and your body will evenually get use to eating more calories. In order to speed up your metabolism you have to eat more calories, you need to fill your "tank" so to speak so your metabolsim has fuel to burn the calories you eat , if theys no fuel your body goes into starvation mode and starts to store all your fat cells and builds it up. Your body thinks its going to starve so it saves the fat cell women should eat 1200-1500 a day. Eat 6 small meals a day. Go slow but weed your way up to at least 1200 calories a day but i would say 1500 for your weight and height. Good luck.

Yes your metabolism is low because your body is in "survival mode" so its saving what it has rather than burn. You try to eat yogurt cups? fruit? something smaller can help. But try to eat more.. please or you wont lose sweety
